Brú Theatre Company Limited by Guarantee, based in Galway, creates live performance that fuses contemporary theatre forms with the landscapes, languages and literary traditions of its artists. Founded in 2018 by Artistic Director James Riordan and Producer Jill Murray, the company specialises in bilingual, multi‑disciplinary work that tours both nationally and abroad, offering audiences a bold, risk‑taking experience that has been praised as “one of the bravest, innovative, risk‑taking companies in the country”.

Their current repertoire includes the silent‑drama *Not a Word*, the physical‑comedy *The Libravian*, and the immersive VR piece *Ar Ais Arís*, which blends Irish‑language literature, visual poetry and 180° film to explore migration. In development is *Páidín Mháire*, an Irish‑language theatre adaptation of Padraic Ó Conaire’s short story, supported by Galway Theatre Festival, Creative Ireland and Gaillimh Le Gaeilge.
