Company Description
Street Art Ink Designated Activity Company is a Waterford‑based creative collective that brings colour, culture and community together through large‑scale mural commissions, hands‑on art workshops and specialist maritime‑themed tours. Building on the foundations laid by New Street Gardens (2014) and Waterford Walls (2015), the team works with schools, colleges, festivals and commercial brands to co‑design public art that reflects local identity while offering participants the chance to learn professional spray‑painting techniques and visual storytelling.
A flagship initiative, the Floating Voices Eco‑Educational Barge, unites artists, scientists and river‑side communities in a three‑strand programme of guided audio‑visual tours, maritime‑themed workshops and artist‑in‑residence projects. Complementary to this, the free Maritime Heritage Walking Tour, led by guide Ciarán, showcases Waterford’s rich seafaring past and the city’s contemporary street‑art landscape.
Through these pillars—public murals, skill‑building workshops and immersive tours—Street Art Ink serves students, residents and visitors alike, delivering vibrant, impactful experiences that celebrate Ireland’s artistic and maritime heritage.
