Castlebar Family Practice is a partnership of Dr Joe Loftus and Dr Tommy Carney, both seasoned GPs with extensive experience in single‑handed and group surgeries serving medical‑card and private patients. Based in Castlebar, the practice is supported by Practice Nurse Monica Moore, who leads paediatric immunisations and a range of health‑screening programmes, including blood‑pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, asthma and cervical checks.

Repeat prescriptions are available via downloadable forms for both medical‑card and private patients, and urgent care advice is provided after hours through the WestDoc on‑call service.
