My Streets Walking Tours Company Limited by Guarantee is a social‑enterprise dedicated to empowering people who are homeless by training them to become paid walking‑tour guides. Since its launch in 2014 the organisation has delivered more than 11,000 tours across Dublin and Drogheda, giving visitors a fresh, story‑rich perspective on these historic cities while providing its trainees with confidence‑building, presentation and research skills.

The core service is a series of three‑month training courses that equip participants with the art of storytelling, tour‑guiding techniques and the professionalism required to lead groups through the social, political and cultural fabric of Dublin and Drogheda. Graduates not only earn an income as guides but also gain pathways into further education and employment, with over half progressing to new roles. All surplus revenue is reinvested into the training programme, ensuring the model remains socially and financially sustainable.
