DUBLIN ANIMATION FILM FESTIVAL COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Dublin Animation Film Festival Company Limited By Guarantee runs the annual Dublin Animation Film Festival, a vibrant showcase of animated short films from emerging Irish talent and international creators. Since its inception in 2011, the festival has championed the belief that "film festivals should be fun and for everyone", delivering a programme of screenings, awards and special guest appearances that celebrate the art of animation.

The organisation's core activities include a public call for entries, the curation of a competitive programme, and the presentation of the DAFF awards - notably Best Irish Short Film, Best Irish Student Short Film, the Social Recognition Award and an Audience Choice Award. Events are hosted at the DLR Mill Theatre in Dublin, with the 2025 edition scheduled for 7-8 November. In addition to the festival, DAFF maintains a community blog, a Hall of Fame of standout Irish shorts, and a network of supporters and friends who help promote Irish animation across Europe and the United States.
