Company Description
Connemara Granite Teoranta is a family‑run quarry situated in Shannapheasteen, Connemara, Co Galway, in the rugged west of Ireland. Drawing on generations of expertise that began with the Larkin great‑grandfather, the company extracts indigenous Irish granite the traditional way – using plugs and feathers – and supplies it as a natural, fair‑trade building material.
Their core range includes 20 mm granite chippings, drainage granite, and a selection of dimension stone for bespoke projects such as gate pillars, cappings and decorative features. All stone is sourced from the Joe Larkin Quarry, processed with a zero‑waste ethos and recycled where possible, ensuring a low carbon footprint. Connemara Granite caters to builders, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and DIY enthusiasts, offering bulk discounts and custom‑made products to suit any residential, commercial or garden scheme.
Committed to sustainability and the heritage of Irish stone, Connemara Granite invites customers to experience the durability and natural beauty of a material that has insulated Irish homes for centuries, while supporting the local economy and the environment.
