GALLAGHERS BOXTY HOUSE TEMPLE BAR LIMITED is a family‑run restaurant that celebrates the traditional Irish potato dish known as boxty. Since 1988, Pádraic Óg Gallagher has perfected the Leitrim pan‑boxty and, together with his chefs, now offers the three regional varieties from Leitrim, Cavan and Fermanagh. The menu showcases boxty in several forms – from the classic golden‑brown boxty pancake to hearty boxty dumplings, rustic boxty bread and the newer boxty fries, each prepared with grated raw potato, flour and Irish butter.

Beyond the food, the Boxty House pairs its dishes with a curated selection of Irish beverages. Guests can enjoy gins from the Dingle peninsula to Drumshambo Gin of Leitrim, a range of whiskeys from Teeling to Jameson and Redbreast, and the restaurant’s own craft brews from its Tallaght brewery, now back on tap.
