Lirion Power Holding Limited is a next‑generation renewables platform backed by leading European energy investors, dedicated to accelerating Ireland’s energy transition. The company focuses on optimising existing wind assets through re‑contracting, repowering and hybridisation strategies, thereby delivering reliable, low‑carbon power to homes and businesses across the island.

At present Lirion manages a 166 MW portfolio of operational wind farms, the flagship being the 100 MW Knockacummer wind farm in County Cork – a joint venture with Greencoat that employs 40 Nordex N90 turbines and has been generating since 2014. The portfolio also includes the 13.3 MW Ballincollig Hill project in County Kerry, operating sixteen Enercon E48/E44 turbines since 2010. By continually enhancing the performance of these sites, Lirion provides sustainable electricity while maximising the value of its assets for investors and the wider community.
