TRALEE WARRIORS BASKETBALL CLUB COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Tralee Warriors Basketball Club Limited by Guarantee is a community‑driven basketball organisation based in Tralee, County Kerry. Since its formation in 2016 – a merger of the local St Brendan’s and Tralee Imperials clubs – the Warriors have re‑established Super League basketball in the town, clinching national titles in 2019 and 2021.

The club fields competitive men’s and women’s squads that contest the Irish SuperLeague and the Women’s Basketball Ireland Development League, with fixtures regularly staged at the Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh Sports Hall in the Kerry Sports Academy and at local venues such as Garvey’s. Beyond elite competition, Tralee Warriors run development programmes, host regular fixtures and engage fans through initiatives like “Share the Bucket”.

Supported by a broad network of local partners – from Heineken and the Scotia Clinic to Garvey’s and Virgin Media – the Warriors combine high‑performance sport with community outreach, offering players of all ages a pathway to excel on the court while fostering a vibrant basketball culture in the region.
