By mobilising local groups, providing research‑backed messaging and offering practical tools for dialogue, they help people move beyond fear and engage in constructive conversations about housing, health, dignity and other real‑world solutions.

The collective’s core services include bespoke training for community workers, activists and political candidates, research reports that test language against far‑right narratives, and strategic advice for organisations confronting online disinformation and hate‑driven incidents such as the recent rise in arson attacks on asylum‑seeker accommodation. Their programmes empower women in politics, support grassroots networks like Clonmel Together and Mayo Pride, and equip over 5,000 individuals with the confidence to foster calm, reasoned dialogue.

Since its launch, Hope & Courage has empowered more than 150 communities and mobilised over 240 organisations, demonstrating a tangible impact on the social fabric of the island. Their work continues to champion an Ireland where everyone has the support they need to thrive.
