Ballina Convent Regeneration Company Limited by Guarantee is a community‑led charitable organisation dedicated to rescuing and revitalising the historic Convent of the Immaculate Conception in Ballina. Established in response to the Sisters of Mercy’s invitation, the company oversees a comprehensive heritage‑conservation programme that restores the 1867 convent’s fabric, from repairing gutters and downpipes to refurbishing 27 traditional wooden sash windows, and ultimately re‑opens the old chapel for public worship and events.

The company’s specialisation lies in coordinating grant‑funded restoration work, securing support from the LEADER programme, the Heritage Community Fund, the Community Recognition Fund and the Ardelle and Theresa Glazer Foundation.
