Carrick Town FC Company Limited by Guarantee is a community‑driven football organisation that has been nurturing the beautiful game in Carrick‑on‑Shannon since 1976. Operating from the Showgrounds on Boyle Road, the club provides a structured pathway for young athletes, offering competitive teams for both boys and girls across a wide age range—from under‑11s up to senior level.

The club’s core services include 13 boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams competing in the Sligo/Leitrim Schoolboys & Girls League and the Sligo‑Leitrim District League, as well as senior men’s and women’s sides in the Roscommon District League. A dedicated youth academy runs every Saturday morning at Aura Leisure, catering for boys and girls aged six to nine, while a newly‑formed over‑35s squad arranges friendly fixtures throughout Connacht.

Carrick Town FC places a strong emphasis on a safe, respectful environment, underpinned by a clear Code of Conduct for coaches, players and parents. By combining competitive football with a supportive community ethos, the club continues to inspire and develop the next generation of talent in the heart of County Leitrim.
