DUBLIN BAY 21 FOOTER CLASS ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Dublin Bay 21 Footer Class Association Company Limited by Guarantee is a volunteer‑run sailing organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting the world’s oldest cruiser‑racer class – the Dublin Bay 21. Based in Dublin Bay, with its fleet moored on the East Pier at Dun Laoghaire Harbour, the association offers a vibrant community for both beginners and seasoned sailors who share a passion for classic yacht racing.

The club runs a full 2026 season of regular DBSC races, Sunday sails, regattas and visits to other harbours, complemented by talks, social occasions and winter events. Members can easily join the class, book guest sails, order the distinctive DB21 badge and access detailed sailing reports. A new heritage plaque on the East Pier, created in partnership with DLRCC, celebrates the class’s history and provides QR‑linked information for visitors.

Through its inclusive calendar and active programme, Dublin Bay 21 fosters camaraderie, skill development and the enjoyment of sailing on Ireland’s historic waters, inviting anyone with an interest in classic yachts to become part of the fleet.
