Portlaoise GAA Development Company Limited by Guarantee is the community‑driven sporting organisation behind CLG Phort Laoise – the town’s Gaelic Athletic Association, Ladies’ Gaelic Football and Camogie club. Established in 1887, the club has grown into a vibrant hub for athletes of all ages, offering structured programmes from the youngest “Town Tigers” (U5‑U6) through to senior adult teams in football, hurling, LGFA and camogie. Its dedicated juvenile and teen sections (U7‑U18) nurture talent across both genders, while the adult side provides competitive senior squads, a G4M&O (Games for Men & Women) framework, and a range of social initiatives such as the Town Lotto, Town Tattler newsletter and a bespoke club app.

Beyond the pitch, Portlaoise GAA is committed to the development of its facilities, overseeing clubhouse projects and supporting local sponsors who share its “C’MON THE TOWN” spirit. With a proud roll of honour that spans Laois and Leinster championships, the club continues to champion community pride, health and sporting excellence throughout Portlaoise and the wider county.
