GREENLINK INTERCONNECTOR FINANCING LIMITED

Greenlink Interconnector Financing Limited is the developer behind Greenlink – a subsea and underground electricity interconnector that will link the power markets of Ireland and Great Britain. Planned for completion in early 2025, the project creates a natural conduit for low‑carbon electricity, enhancing supply security for consumers on both sides of the Irish Sea and providing a gateway for Ireland to access EU and Nordic markets via Great Britain.

The company’s core activity is financing and delivering this critical energy‑infrastructure asset, which is already progressing through on‑shore construction in Ireland and Wales following the award of all core planning consents. By enabling the integration of renewable generation, Greenlink is set to support up to 380,000 homes, apply downward pressure on electricity bills, and generate jobs and knock‑on economic benefits throughout the construction and operational phases.
