Saoirse Ethnic Hands on Deck Company Limited by Guarantee is a migrant‑women‑led social enterprise based in Cork. Founded by women with lived experience of migration and Direct Provision, the organisation creates pathways to employment, empowerment and community connection through the shared power of making, learning and leading together. Their work is rooted in solidarity, creativity and social justice, and they operate a thriving online shop that sells ethically crafted items such as toiletry bags, crochet and tote bags, home‑decor pieces and the specially designed Sanctuary Caps – reusable scrub caps handmade for healthcare professionals.

In addition to retail, Saoirse runs monthly public workshops that are open to all. Led by skilled migrant women, these hands‑on sessions cover candle‑making, sewing, crafting, cooking and other creative skills, allowing participants to learn while directly supporting the women who design and produce the products. The enterprise also offers Sanctuary Catering, bringing flavours from around the world to the table, further extending its commitment to cultural exchange and sustainable employment for migrant women.
