Tiggy’s Trust is a charitable foundation established in memory of Tiggy Hancock, a gifted young rider whose spirit of kindness, generosity and inclusivity continues to inspire the equestrian community. The Trust’s core mission is to nurture the mental‑health and personal development of children and young people involved in equestrian sport, offering a safe, supportive environment where talent can flourish alongside values such as sportsmanship and empathy.

Through a suite of specialist programmes the Trust delivers practical support to the sector. The Nurture Programme equips equestrian coaches with the skills to adopt a caring, mental‑health‑focused approach, while the Rider Development Programme encourages riders to embody inclusivity and kindness both in the arena and beyond. A dedicated Cross‑Country at its Best initiative works to improve safety for horse and rider, and the Trust also backs a range of youth charities—including Festina Lente, the Carlow Youth Programme, the Swan programme in Dublin’s inner city and the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund. Ongoing fundraising events, an online shop and a vibrant social‑media presence help sustain these activities and keep Tiggy’s legacy alive for future generations.
