Munster Cricket Union Company Limited By Guarantee is the governing body for cricket across the province of Munster, overseeing a vibrant network of 13 clubs and a thriving youth programme. It organises competitive play for the senior representative sides - the Munster Reds in the Inter-Provincial 20-over and 50-over series, and the Munster Heat, which offers a packed summer schedule of white-ball cricket for players keen to test themselves against peers from the other provinces.

Beyond elite competition, the Union supports grassroots development through active youth sections at clubs such as Cork County, Cork Harlequins, Limerick, Lismore, Midleton and Waterford District, with registration reopening in 2026. It also delivers coaching courses, talent-pathway initiatives and a range of news updates, keeping players, coaches and supporters informed via its Match Centre and social media channels.
