Company Description
International Road Victims' Partnership (IRVP) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people who have been bereaved or seriously injured in road collisions. Acting as a parliamentary advisory body, a member of the Council for Transport Safety, the European Transport Safety Council and the Global Road Safety Partnership, IRVP works to influence policy, improve judicial responses and promote victims' rights on a global scale.
The partnership produces a range of specialist resources, including the "Effective Judicial Response" guide for families, a comprehensive "Guide for Families Bereaved by Road" and the annual "Hit & Run Global Survey". Its research portfolio also features the Victims' Rights Global Report, the Mullingar Manifesto and detailed investigations into road-death procedures. Through an extensive network of NGOs and individual members spanning Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania, IRVP collaborates on advocacy, education and the development of best-practice safety standards.
By uniting experts, survivors and organisations, IRVP strives to ensure that the voices of road-collision victims are heard, that their rights are protected and that safer, more compassionate road-travel environments are created worldwide.
