The Sean McCaffrey Foundation Company Limited By Guarantee was set up in March 2018 by family and friends to carry forward Sean McCaffrey's passion for youth development, animal welfare and health support. As a charitable organisation, it relies entirely on the generosity of community groups, businesses, committees and individuals, directing every donation towards three core objectives.

The foundation's primary focus is to help young people realise their full potential through the coaching and development of football, offering forums, events and mentorship that inspire the next generation of players and coaches. In parallel, it provides assistance to animal-welfare bodies and contributes to the renal dialysis unit at Cavan Hospital, supporting patients who need life-saving treatment.

Operating throughout Ireland, the Sean McCaffrey Foundation builds community spirit by organising fundraising activities, football forums and other events that bring people together for a common cause. Its transparent, community-driven model ensures that all funds raised are channelled directly into programmes that honour Sean's legacy and make a lasting, positive impact.
