Pdforra Medical Assistance Scheme Company Limited By Guarantee is the representative body for enlisted personnel serving full-time in Ireland's Defence Forces. Founded in 1990, the association now advocates for more than 6 500 members across the Army, Naval Service and Air Corps - one of the highest rates of representation of any public-service union in the State.

The core purpose of Pdforra is to champion the pay, conditions and overall welfare of its members. It provides a collective voice on employment matters, offers guidance on entitlements and runs a dedicated mobile app that gives members easy access to information and support. All serving enlisted ranks of the Permanent Defence Forces are eligible to join, ensuring that every soldier, sailor and airman has a recognised platform for their concerns.
