ALPHA-1 FOUNDATION

Alpha‑1 Foundation Ireland is a national charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Alpha‑1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (A1ATD). Working from the RCSI Education and Research Centre at Beaumont Hospital, the foundation raises public awareness, drives early diagnosis and supports cutting‑edge research into this genetic condition, which can lead to lung, liver and skin disease.
