LITTLE BLUE HEROES FOUNDATION

Little Blue Heroes Foundation is a not-for-profit charity founded in 2017 and driven by serving Garda members, retired Gardaí and community volunteers. The organisation's core purpose is to support families of children with serious illnesses across Ireland, offering both practical assistance and financial aid. By granting children the honour of becoming an "Honorary Garda," the foundation empowers young patients, fostering positive engagement with the police service and the wider community.

Key initiatives include the Haven4Heroes programme, hospital visits and care packs, mini-Garda cars and bikes, and special events such as the Easter Bunny Drive, Sarah's Christmas Gift and the Jordan EmPower Hope Campaign. The charity also runs fundraising activities, charity auctions and corporate partnership schemes, all of which are funded solely through donations and volunteer effort - it receives no state or direct An Garda Síochána funding. With a small dedicated administration team, Little Blue Heroes delivers heartfelt support that makes a tangible difference to children and their families during challenging times.
