Company Description
The Irish Bioeconomy Foundation (IBF) is a national organisation dedicated to unlocking the full potential of Ireland's bioeconomy across all economic and social sectors. Based on the National Bioeconomy Campus in Lisheen, Co. Tipperary, IBF works to convert the country's land and sea resources into high-value, sustainable products, positioning Ireland as a globally competitive leader while fostering local development.
IBF offers an integrated suite of services to support bio-based projects. Its forthcoming 1,700 sq m bioprocess pilot plant will provide cutting-edge design and scale-up capabilities. The foundation also assists innovators with confidential fundraising, leveraging an extensive network of public and private financing partners. In addition, IBF helps companies promote and market their products, processes and brands within the Irish and EU bioeconomy landscape through targeted outreach and strategic positioning.
Through collaborative research, EU project participation and the development of the National Bioeconomy Campus, IBF creates a vibrant ecosystem that connects industry, academia and policymakers, driving the transition to a circular, bio-based economy for a sustainable future.
