Made in Mongolia (MIM) is an Irish-registered company limited by guarantee that brings the ancient craft of Mongolian felt making to a global audience. Drawing on natural wool from the central Mongolian steppe and shaping it in the heart of the Gobi Desert, MIM produces beautifully handcrafted slippers and a range of felt products that marry a thousand-year-old tradition with contemporary design and function.

Each pair of slippers is created by experienced craftswomen, marked and signed by its maker, and recognised as the finest quality felt goods in Mongolia. The collection is sold online, allowing customers to explore the natural materials, the meticulous production process, and the cultural story behind each item.

Beyond the product, MIM's purpose is social entrepreneurship: it provides training, employment and health-care support to women-many from single-parent households-through a partnership with the Asral NGO.
