Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland (YSPI) is a national charity dedicated to reducing youth suicide and improving mental-health literacy across the island. Through a blend of face-to-face outreach, online workshops and a suite of free resources, YSPI works directly with schools, colleges, youth clubs and community groups to raise awareness, equip young people with coping skills and support staff in recognising and responding to crisis situations.

Key services include the Schools Programme - now delivered via the award-winning "Let's About Mental Health" video presentation, which can be streamed to up to ten classes a day and is accompanied by a teachers' handbook and student guide - and a free-text information service (text 50015) that provides 24/7 crisis advice. YSPI also supplies free mental-health support packs, publishes a bilingual Ukrainian guide on crisis signs, and runs a fast-track Youth Crisis Counselling Programme that funds two free sessions with qualified counsellors for teenagers at immediate risk. The organisation's National Mental Health Training Centre, based in Killarney, serves as a hub for both online and in-person training, webinars and outreach events.

By partnering with educators, parents and voluntary groups, YSPI aims to create a safer, more informed environment for Ireland's young people, offering timely intervention and lasting preventative education.
