The Grow Dome Project is an award-winning social enterprise that transforms high-tech vertical farms into vibrant community and education hubs. By installing off-grid, automated greenhouses that use organic soil, natural light and up to 90 % less water, the organisation produces fresh microgreens while offering free, inclusive spaces for people of all ages to learn, socialise and collaborate.

Beyond food production, each Grow Dome serves as a magnet for community engagement - hosting neighbourhood parties, workshops and more than 300 self-managed parent-and-toddler groups at its prototype site in Dublin's Rialto area. The hubs provide a welcoming environment for education, social inclusion and local activism, helping residents connect with sustainable gardening practices and each other.

The project's impact has been recognised with the SEI Award (2017) and strong partnerships with Dublin City Council, Dublin City University and O'Cualann.
