Active Connections CLG is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming lives through adventure-based therapy. Guided by a clear mission to provide therapeutic experiences that empower people in need and at risk, the charity delivers a range of specialised services designed to foster personal growth, resilience and wellbeing.

The core solutions include Therapeutic Services, the Embers Disabilities Service and a variety of group programmes. These initiatives combine outdoor adventure with therapeutic practice, offering young people and individuals the chance to develop confidence and coping skills in supportive, experiential settings. In 2025 the organisation recorded more than 31 675 hours of impact, supporting over 16 054 young people through therapeutic services, delivering 13 927 hours of Embers camps, and providing 1 694 hours of group work.

Active Connections' work is driven by a vision of making adventure therapy accessible to anyone who could benefit, and it continues to expand its reach across Ireland through the support of dedicated volunteers and partners.
