Shannonside Recreational Campus Company Limited by Guarantee is a community‑driven organisation dedicated to delivering a state‑of‑the‑art, all‑inclusive sports and recreation hub for the Upper Shannonside region. Recognising the growing demand for safe, high‑quality facilities, the SRC is developing a regional campus that will cater to athletes of every ability, age and gender – from junior school teams and amateur clubs to elite, para and future Olympians.

The campus will host a broad spectrum of disciplines, including track and field, field games and indoor sports, and will provide world‑class training environments, competition venues, summer camps, rehabilitation services and emerging‑talent programmes in partnership with bodies such as the FAI, IRFU and GAA. By offering an “all‑weather” complex, the SRC will eliminate the need for clubs to travel outside the area, attract sport tourism, and generate employment opportunities for the local economy.

Rooted in the rich cultural and natural heritage of Upper Shannonside, the Shannonside Recreational Campus aims to unite the community through sport, promote lifelong participation, and create a lasting legacy of health, wellbeing and regional pride.
