Boxty House Limited is a Tallaght-based restaurant dedicated to preserving and celebrating the traditional Irish dish of boxty. Founded in 1988 by Pádraic Óg Gallagher, the eatery offers the three authentic varieties of boxty that originate from the border counties of Leitrim, Cavan and Fermanagh. The menu showcases the classic Leitrim Pan Boxty - a light, golden-brown potato pancake - alongside a creative range of dishes such as Boxty Dumplings, Boxty Bread and the newer Boxty Fries, each crafted from grated raw potato, flour and Irish butter and served with a choice of sauces.

Beyond its culinary focus, Boxty House features a well-curated bar that highlights the best of Irish spirits, from boutique gins of the Dingle Peninsula and Leitrim to a selection of whiskeys including Teeling, Jameson, Redbreast and Midleton. The venue also serves its own Tallaght-brewed beers, offering a full Irish drinking experience.
