Accuplex Diagnostics Ltd is a specialist diagnostics company founded in 2011 that develops rapid, animal-side and laboratory-based tests for the detection of acute-phase proteins such as Serum Amyloid A (SAA), a key biomarker of inflammation and infection across all animal species. The company's portfolio includes the EquiChek™-SAA stall-side kit for horses, the OmniChek™-SAA multispecies rapid test for dogs, cats, rabbits, production animals and even exotic species, and a suite of SideroTec assays. SideroTec-Total™ offers a colourimetric, 15-minute detection of all siderophores and synthetic iron-chelation molecules, while SideroTec-HiSens™ provides a high-sensitivity fluorescent assay for the same targets. In the human-health arena, the SideroTec-AsP™ ELISA detects urinary Triacetylfusarinine C, a biomarker of invasive aspergillosis, and the SideroTec-HiSens™ assay assesses iron-chelation potential in diverse samples.
