ROUGE GORGE LIMITED

Rouge Gorge Limited is a Galway-based French restaurant that delivers an authentic, rustic French dining experience. Since opening its doors on 1 July 2011, Rouge has built a reputation for classic French cuisine served in a warm, intimate setting, making it a favourite for both locals and visitors seeking a special night out.

The menu spans brunch, dinner and a range of French tapas, featuring locally sourced ingredients such as Irish-certified beef, 100 % Irish duck and the daily catch of fresh fish. Signature dishes include the "Montmartre" set menu, duck breast with orange gastrique, and a choice of premium steaks served with pepper, blue-cheese or garlic-butter sauces. A broad selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options is also available, alongside artisanal breads, viennoiseries and pâtisseries baked daily at the sister bakery C'est La Vie in Terryland. Complementary platters, cheese and meat boards, and an extensive French wine list, cocktails and apéritifs round out the offering.

Rouge operates evenings from Tuesday to Thursday (4 pm-10.30 pm) and Friday from 4 pm, with live music and a curated wine selection enhancing the magical night-time ambience.
