MPHC THE 4TH PRACTICE LIMITED

Mphc the 4th Practice Limited runs Ireland's first and largest primary health-care centre, bringing together general practitioners and HSE community services under one roof. Based in Mallow, at the crossroads of Munster, the centre serves a catchment of more than 120,000 people, with its GP practices and enhanced medical services caring for over 30,000 registered patients and welcoming around 1,000 visitors each day.

The hub offers a full suite of primary-care provision, including community mental-health teams for chronic disease and dementia, alongside routine GP consultations. It also provides a vibrant learning environment for final-year medical students and GP registrars, and collaborates with the pharmaceutical industry on research projects that have been rolled out nationally. As a paperless, fully automated facility, MPHC meets the highest internationally recognised standards and sets a benchmark for similar centres.

With a dedicated workforce of 250 staff, the organisation places the patient at the very centre of its mission, delivering compassionate, integrated care that bridges private and public health services for the benefit of the local community.
