Temple Villa A.F.C. Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven football club founded in 1973 in Mount Temple. Built on the vision of Kieran Carroll, Jimmy Daly and Seamus Killane, the club has grown into a vibrant organisation that offers structured football programmes for children, teenagers and adults across the region.

The club runs a comprehensive membership scheme for the 2024/25 season, with categories ranging from U-7 (€35) to senior teams (Senior 1 €120, Senior F €150) and specialised youth groups such as Under-12 (Y1) and Under-15 (YF). In addition to regular league fixtures in the Midland School Boys & Girls League and the Combined Counties Football League, Temple Villa provides training sessions, coaching clinics and community events, including a 50/50 draw and ticketed awards nights. Over the years the club has celebrated notable successes, most famously the 1983 John Farrell Counties Cup triumph, and has nurtured players such as John Morris Burke, Padraig Nicholson and Eric Molloy.
