Irish Girl Guides (IGG) is a youth-driven, charitable organisation operating across Ireland, with roughly 10 000 girls, young women and adult volunteers as members. As a Trust Corporation Company Limited by Guarantee, IGG delivers a dynamic programme that builds confidence, leadership and life-skills for girls and women aged 5-30. The structure is supported by a small paid staff who enable a network of dedicated volunteers to run locally-based groups.

The programme is divided into age-specific sections: Ladybirds (5-7) nurture early curiosity through badge-earning adventures; Brownies (7-10) encourage detective-style discovery; Guides (10-14) develop independence, teamwork and leadership; and the Senior Branch (14-30) offers flexible, self-directed experiences tailored to each member's interests. In addition to the core activities, IGG provides resources for parents, safety guidelines, cottage facilities for outings, and an online shop offering uniforms, books and merchandise (currently on seasonal pause for stock-take). Through its vibrant community and volunteer-led ethos, Irish Girl Guides empowers girls to laugh, learn and embark on adventures that shape confident, capable leaders for the future.
