Founded in 1760, Drummonds Limited is a long‑standing agricultural merchant serving the North‑East of Ireland. Operating from nine branches across Counties Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Dublin and Kildare, the company offers a full suite of agronomy, seed, grain, fertiliser and animal‑feed solutions to dairy, beef and arable farmers of all sizes.

Drummonds’ core services include expert agronomy advice, a certified range of cereal and grass seeds processed at its Drogheda facility, and a responsive grain‑trading operation that links producers with market opportunities. Their fertiliser advisory team designs nutrient plans based on soil‑test data, while the animal‑feed division supplies high‑quality coarse and pelleted feeds made from Irish cereals. In addition, the firm runs a comprehensive agri‑retail network offering hardware, equipment, clothing and footwear. Uniquely, Drummonds hosts Ireland’s only dedicated agronomy research and development site in Co. Louth, where new cereal varieties and trial programmes are evaluated.
