KILKENNY EMPLOYMENT FOR YOUTH COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Kilkenny Employment for Youth CTC is a youth-focused training and work-experience centre based in Kilkenny. Co-funded by the Irish Government, the European Social Fund and the Youth Employment Initiative, the centre bridges the gap between learning and employment by linking learners with local employers and providing hands-on experience across a range of sectors. Its core mission is to boost confidence, develop employable skills and help young people build a strong CV that opens doors to sustainable careers.

The centre offers a diverse portfolio of Level 3 and Level 4 courses, including Catering & Arts, Catering & Hospitality, Design & Graphics, Information Technology & Office Skills, Hairdressing & Barbering (VTCT-certified), and Woodwork Apprenticeship Ready. Complementary modules such as numeracy and literacy support, communications, computer literacy and career preparation are available to all learners. Each programme culminates in an Employability Skills Award or a recognised diploma, with the opportunity for work placements that embed real-world practice. By delivering industry-relevant training and personalised support, Kilkenny Employment for Youth CTC equips young people in the Kilkenny region with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in today's job market.
