PRAXIS CARE

Praxis Care is a charitable organisation that delivers high-quality, professional support to people living with mental ill health, autism, learning disabilities and dementia. With a focus on individuals who have complex needs, the charity provides innovative, person-centred services that empower lives to be valued, meaningful and inclusive.

Operating across the island of Ireland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, Praxis Care supports roughly 400 adults and children in the Republic, nearly 700 in Northern Ireland, around 60 people in Great Britain and about 40 on the Isle of Man, backed by a dedicated workforce of more than 2,500 staff and volunteers. Its portfolio includes day-service centres, community-based activities, volunteer-led events and specialist programmes such as sports days, creative competitions and fundraising challenges, all designed to promote independence, social connection and personal development.

Praxis Care also places a strong emphasis on staff development, offering clear pathways from care worker to senior management and a range of benefits that encourage career progression within the social-care sector.
