Company Description
Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) - Dublin Chapter is a charitable organisation that supports the small but vibrant Armenian community in Ireland. Since joining the SOAR family in July 2015, the chapter has focused on improving the lives of Armenian children and families, promoting cultural heritage, and providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by conflict and displacement.
The Dublin chapter organises a Sunday School for Armenian youth, collaborates with the Armenian Apostolic Church, and runs advocacy and research projects through its board of directors, who bring expertise in education, communications, and environmental science. Members also engage in wider charitable work, such as supporting displaced Armenians, raising awareness of humanitarian needs, and fostering community cohesion.
Based in Dublin, SOAR works alongside its global headquarters and the Armenian office in Yerevan to deliver relief, education and cultural programmes that give children a happy, secure childhood and strengthen the Armenian diaspora across Ireland.
