THE CROSS BORDER ORCHESTRA OF IRELAND

The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland Ltd is a charitable musical organisation that brings together musicians from the north and south of the island to celebrate peace through performance. Its flagship event, the Peace Proms series, includes high-profile concerts such as the magical candle-light recital and appearances at venues like Carnegie Hall, showcasing a repertoire that ranges from classical favourites to contemporary anthems.

Beyond the stage, the orchestra runs the "Count Us In" initiative, offering free violin and other instrumental lessons to children aged nine to thirteen. This educational programme is designed to nurture talent, foster community spirit and give young people a constructive outlet for creativity.
