RESPOND

Respond is Ireland's largest construction-led housing body, delivering cost-rental and social homes to those who need them most. With a portfolio of over 8,000 properties and more than 3,500 homes currently under construction, the organisation is on track to add another 4,000 affordable homes this year, helping thousands of families, individuals and people experiencing homelessness secure a safe, permanent place to live.

Beyond building homes, Respond offers a suite of community services that include early-childhood care and education, day-care centres for older people, family-homeless support, refugee resettlement and broader family-support programmes. Tenants benefit from a dedicated online Hub where they can pay rent, report repairs and manage their tenancy, while the organisation also advocates for policy change to create a more equitable housing landscape. Respond works with a wide network of partners and, under the forthcoming leadership of CEO Aoife Watters, continues to champion vibrant, sustainable communities across the Republic of Ireland.
