Muintearas Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-focused education and training organisation serving the Irish-speaking heartland of the west. Based in Tír an Fhia, Leitir Móir, County Galway, with a sub-office in the Gaeltacht of Dún na nGall, Muintearas delivers a range of programmes designed to enrich the lives of children, young people and families across the Gaeltacht.

The charity runs the Údarás na Gaeltachta Summer Camp Scheme, overseeing the planning, delivery and monitoring of camps throughout the summer months. It also operates a vibrant community restaurant, An Clúid, offering a quality lunchtime service for local schools and groups. In addition, Muintearas provides specialised youth work - from the Réalt na Mara youth worker posts to a virtual-reality youth club - and a suite of child-care services under the Naíolann brand, including Montessori and pre-school provision. Its commitment to professional development is evident in the QQI-accredited teacher-training courses it offers, recognised at Level 6 on the NFQ.

Through these diverse initiatives, Muintearas aims to strengthen Gaelic language, culture and community wellbeing, making high-quality education and support accessible to families throughout the Gaeltacht.
