BONE MARROW FOR LEUKAEMIA TRUST

Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust is an Irish charity dedicated to supporting people diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma who are undergoing, or may require, a stem-cell transplant. The Trust provides direct, practical assistance to patients and their families, with a particular focus on those travelling from outside Dublin, helping to ease the logistical and emotional pressures of treatment.

A core part of the Trust's work is backing the Haematology Department at St James's Hospital, Dublin, which houses the National Allogeneic Transplant Centre - the only Irish facility where adults can receive a sibling or matched-unrelated donor stem-cell transplant. In addition, the organisation runs a vibrant fundraising programme, encouraging volunteers and participants to take on challenges such as marathons and community events, with proceeds directly funding patient support and the transplant centre's operations.

Through donations, volunteer involvement and community-driven events, Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust creates a network of care that makes a tangible difference to patients across Ireland, ensuring that no one faces their transplant journey alone.
