MOOREHAVEN CENTRE (TIPPERARY) DESIGNATED ACTIVITY COMPANY

MooreHaven Centre (Tipperary) Designated Activity Company is a charitable organisation that has been supporting adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities since 1981. Originating as a day-service provider, the centre now delivers a comprehensive range of day and residential programmes for more than 120 service users, drawing on the dedication of over 80 staff members.

The core services include structured day activities, education and training programmes, day-activation and supported work or employment opportunities, as well as HIQA-registered residential and respite homes. Day facilities operate in Tipperary Town and Cashel, complemented by four residential homes in Tipperary Town, and the service area extends to families within a 30-mile radius, primarily across counties Tipperary and Limerick. Funding is secured through the Health Service Executive under Section 39 of the Health Act 2004, alongside contributions from members, supporters and fundraising initiatives.
