CLE CUIDEACHTA FAOI THEORAINN RÁTHAÍOCHTA

Cle Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta, trading as Publishing Ireland, is a member-led, voluntary organisation that supports Ireland's book-publishing sector through trade advocacy, training and development. Acting as the Irish Book Publishers Association, it brings together independent presses, university presses and larger houses to share expertise, champion Irish literature and influence policy affecting the publishing landscape.

The association runs a calendar of high-impact events, including the annual Publishers Conference, Trade Day, the Children's Books Ireland Award and a newly launched forum for indie presses. It also offers webinars - such as the recent AFEPI Ireland session on editors' roles in trans-Atlantic English - and a range of networking opportunities for members. Through its "Publisher Spotlight" and "Recently Published in Ireland" features, Publishing Ireland showcases new titles and highlights the diverse output of its members.

Based in Dublin, the body serves publishers across the island, providing a central hub for news, resources and collaborative projects that help Irish books reach readers at home and abroad.
