9TH WESTMEATH MILLTOWNPASS SCOUT GROUP

The 9th Westmeath Milltownpass Scout Group is a vibrant youth‑development organisation that delivers the worldwide Scouting programme to children and young people aged six to seventeen. Based in the Milltownpass Community Centre, the group offers a balanced mix of outdoor adventure, practical learning and personal growth activities, ensuring members develop confidence, teamwork and a love of the natural world.

Their core service is a series of age‑appropriate sections that run throughout the year, each packed with challenging hikes, skill‑building workshops and community projects. The programme is designed to be fun and educational, encouraging participants to explore, lead and belong within a supportive environment. In addition to the youth sections, the group welcomes enthusiastic volunteers – whether as a Scouter or in a supporting role – to help deliver these experiences.
