Entente Florale Europe (EFE) is an international, non‑profit association dedicated to the sustainable development of towns, villages and cities across the continent. By promoting greener, more livable environments, the organisation works to enhance the quality of life for both urban and rural residents. EFE achieves this through its flagship Entente Florale competition, which recognises and rewards communities that demonstrate excellence in horticulture, environmental stewardship and community involvement.

The association administers a comprehensive suite of services for participants, including detailed judging criteria, thematic prize categories, and guidance on the preparation of judging tours. It maintains a robust archive of past participants and results dating back to 2016, and organises annual prize‑giving ceremonies and jubilee celebrations. EFE also publishes articles, regulatory documents and offers a platform for partners and board members to collaborate, fostering a network of expertise that supports the continual improvement of European living spaces.
