Ballinlee Green Energy is managing the full planning application process and environmental assessments for the site, which spans the townlands of Ballincurra, Ballinlee South, Ballingayrour, Ballinrea, Knockuregare, Ballinlee North, Carrigeen and Camas South. A distinctive feature of the development is a Community Benefit Fund, earmarked to distribute more than €5 million to local initiatives over the first 15 years of operation.
