KILDARE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NETWORK COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Kildare Public Participation Network (PPN) is the principal conduit linking County Kildare’s Local Authority with the county’s social‑inclusion, environmental and community‑voluntary sectors. Established under the Local Government Act 2014, the network exists to give residents and organisations a stronger voice in shaping local policies, plans and services that affect their daily lives.

Through a free‑of‑charge membership, the PPN enables groups to elect representatives onto Kildare Council committees, access up‑to‑date information on funding, grants and training, and take part in consultations at both local and national level. Its Information Hub acts as a one‑stop resource for community services, while regular events, workshops and networking opportunities help members learn from one another and amplify their collective influence.

Open to any community, environmental or social‑inclusion organisation operating in County Kildare, the network’s Secretariat of eleven elected members steers the agenda between plenary meetings, ensuring that the diverse needs of Kildare’s citizens are heard and acted upon.
