The Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP) is the recognised professional body for Clinical Measurement Physiologists across the Republic of Ireland. It brings together the five specialist disciplines – Cardiac, Gastro‑intestinal, Respiratory, Neurophysiology and Vascular Physiology – and provides a unified voice for practitioners who perform diagnostic and therapeutic testing, generate reports and monitor treatment outcomes for patients.

IICMP supports its members through a robust programme of continuing professional development, including in‑person and on‑line events such as data‑analysis workshops, EEG schools and specialist conferences. It also sets high standards for education and clinical practice, advises the state on matters affecting the profession, and conducts national censuses to inform workforce planning. By championing public protection and professional excellence, the Institute helps ensure that high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care remains at the heart of clinical measurement physiology in Ireland.
